WE REJOICE at the baptism of Sharon Matheny on June 22nd. Sherri Boyd has been encouraging Sharon and brought her to the church building for baptism.

SPECIAL SINGING TONIGHT— We plan to have a church singing at the evening worship time (5:30 PM). It would be good for all of our song leaders to come prepared to lead their favorite song. We may have time for request songs too. The Lord’s Supper will be served prior to this time of singing.

SINGING IMPROVEMENT CLASS—Our own Jacob Alexander will be conducting a special class to improve our singing on Sunday, July 11th at the evening worship time (5:30 PM). Jacob is a Senior at SE MO State University and a Vocal Music Major. In the future he hopes to become a professional singer perhaps in opera or teaching at the college level. He has the knowledge and the ability to give us some good tips on our singing. Central is blessed to have such a fine young man in our congregation. We encourage all our members to attend. Come if you do not regularly attend on Sunday evening. The Lord’s Supper will be served prior to this special class.

PARTY IN THE PARK for ages 2 yrs. –2nd grade is planned for July 9th. There is a signup sheet on the back table.

PLEASE HELP! BACK TO SCHOOL SUPPLY GIVEAWAY-A goal has been set to raise $1000, to date we have collected $287. There is a box on the back table for donations or give to Vicki Robertson or Frank Pitcock.

OPPORTUNITY TO SERVE - The church needs someone who can be here when the truck from Fair Haven Thrift Store comes to pick up items approximately once every six months. The truck just came so the storage building can be filled again. They have asked that we pack the items in boxes.

NOTICE: Since the Correll’s have gone to help the Pomona Church, Dave and Linda Malone have agreed to be responsible for the food pantry. We thank them for their help.

Announcements for each week's bulletin should be turned into the church office by the preceding Thursday.
